Federal Govt To Merge 50% Adhoc Relief Allowance 2010 in Budget 2017-18

Islamabad: There is big news for the Govt. Employees. Federal Govt. of Pakistan has been completed homework to merge 50% adhoc relief allowance of 2010 in Budget 2017-18. The 50% adhoc relief allowance was given by PPP's Zardari Govt. in 2010.

According to the daily 92 Newspaper, dated 18-05-2017 Summary of Revised Pay Scale 2017-18 for Govt. Employees has been prepared by the Financial Regulatory Department and the copy of the summary has been received by the 92 newspaper.

According to the news, pay scale will be revised as the 50% Adhoc Relief Allowance 2010 will be merged into basic pay of employees in coming budget 2017-18.

If summary is approved then there will be 10% increase in salaries for the Govt. Employees. Salary of the BPS-01 employee will be raised from 7,640 to 9,190 as annual increment will be raised from Rs. 240 to Rs. 340/.
Sources claims, Federal Govt. has been planned to give Utility Allowance for the employees who are working in Secretariat of Islamabad as earlier Punjab and Sindh employees are receiving this allowance.

Let’s see what happen in upcoming budget 2017-18 but if Govt. merges 50% adhoc relief allowance 2010 in the budget, it will be good news for the retired employees.
